Getting to Oi-Qaragai
ALA / Almaty → Oi-Qaragai
From Almaty, allow approximately 40 minutes by car in normal conditions. The practical choices are:
- a taxi or private car with enough luggage space;
- the resort transfer, booked in advance;
- bus 210 from the Palace of Sports, which takes approximately one hour; or
- a rental car, with parking available at the resort.
From ALA, use a taxi, private car, or pre-booked resort transfer. Do not use the 40-minute estimate for the airport journey: that timing applies from Almaty and the ALA travel time has not been separately established here.
With a ski or snowboard bag, tell the taxi, private-transfer, or resort-transfer operator the number and length of the equipment bags before pickup. A car is the practical option when carrying long equipment. Bus 210 works best with light luggage or when renting at the resort.
Oi-Qaragai → Almaty / ALA
For the return to Almaty, use a taxi or private car, arrange the resort transfer, or take bus 210 back toward the Palace of Sports. For ALA, book a taxi, private car, or resort transfer with enough luggage space and allow extra time for traffic and equipment loading. Confirm the pickup point inside the resort before departure because its facilities and parking areas are spread across several zones.
Oi-Qaragai has outdoor and covered parking areas. Overnight guests and day visitors should check the parking terms that apply to their booking or visit.

Children’s seasonal pass with lessons
The winter seasonal children’s Ski-Pass with lessons is for ages 3–12. It includes two-hour group lessons at UGUSHA for beginner or advanced children, resort-slope access during the lesson schedule, ski/boot/helmet rental, 30 minutes of tubing, 30 minutes of play in an ethnic yurt, and free parking in P1/P2. The product allows one session per day and is adjusted to the child. Early-booking discounts are 20% through 30 September, 10% through 30 October, and 5% through 30 November; confirm the current product card and price before budgeting.
